I love this photo, I find it meaningful and poignant. I see three stories of fall here: a fall in value for the bike. A probable economic fall for the owner of the taverna, these days in Greece. The fall from favour of immigrant workers. Three stories joined together in the frame. The fallen leaves in autumn make the atmosphere of the image even stronger.
They used to sell them here back in the day, along with the old MZs. Still loads in Bulgaria and Turkey, but I guess there haven't been any new ones for a while
seriously? I didn't know that. That's great - I used to have an ETZ 125 and I had a TS250 briefly but I sold it because we moved. Went to an Eastern European bike rally once in England. Interesting machinery, crazy people
I had the ETZ250 bought in 1988. Made more than 200,000 kms with it, never asked for anything more than a spark plug occasionaly. Amazing bike, almost a cult one
