Not much to wait for... by StamatisGR Not much to wait for... by StamatisGR
It's not life that is short...
It's us who start living it with a delay...
and there are no second chances here...

Great capture I am in a wheelchair so have a certain empathy with the old guy. I am in bed as I write this and I am listening to the radio playing sounds of the sixties which is when I was a kid. I am being taken back by the music to night's at the youth club when I had my whole life in front of me. I think the old boy is rembering better times.

I was raised listening to the sounds of the sixties.
And this is where I get back when I want to feel at home :)

we feel comfortable with certain sounds and surroundings it is like a warm blanket of comfort. I have a friend who if depressed buys a can of Heinz Tomato soup by the time she has heated it up and eaten it she feels better.

Our material body in this world passes through six stages: Birth, Growth, Maintenance, Reproduction, Old Age and finally Death. Although our body is subjected to these realities, the spirit or the person is not. He continous to exist even when his body is no longer existing.

You were able to excellently capture the realities of old age in this fine image Stam . Whether they gained wisdom or not is all up to them.

What a potent image this is !
