Athens in a spring afternoon.
In the middle of the image you can see the rock where Acropolis was built 2.500 years ago. The city has spread in a wide area around this rock.

I love this city. When on ground level, I find myself always looking up to the Acropolis; and yet when I'm up on the Acropolis, I can't help but turn to look at the city instead.
